Confidence !!

”Life is too short to spend it at war with yourself.”

Hey My Strawberries, today’s topic is very important for many aspects of life.

Confidence.

You know these people, with a lot of charisma and hypnotizing charm.

They don’t seem to care how much attention their presence brings back and they’re confident.

You want to be like them but you think it’s impossible.

Well, you’re wrong. You could be that way.

There is no secret, they are just confident.

It is true that it is easier said than done because we all have a moment in our life or we do not feel good about ourselves.

It can be because of the beauty criteria of our society, social networks (compare), a remark that was made to you on your

physique, the male gaze, etc.…

It’s important to note that we are not born with a lack of self-confidence; it is a result of a trigger.

When you’re a kid before you go to school and you have kids who will laugh at you, you feel like the kings of the world.

We will do things without worrying about what people will think.

Well, we should go back to that mentality.

No longer worry about people’s eyes, no longer live for people’s approval and especially focus on our well-being.

Forget the comments that were made to you when you were young, people who made you suffer probably do not feel good about themselves.

Believe me, when you are self confident , you won’t waste your time trying to demean others.

Now let’s get down to business.

How to have self-confidence?

Here are some tips that really helped me when I was younger.

  1. Stop comparing yourself! I can never say it enough, but what will it bring you? Each beauty is unique and unique to each. Comparing yourself will just make you feel bad.
  2. Don’t try to look like someone just for their physique, you may find that person attractive and you want to be as attractive ( Surgery, extreme weight loss, etc…) but instead of doing everything you can to look like them it will be easier to do with the charm you already have and use tricks not dangerous for your health.
  3. Avoid making negative comments when people are looking at you. Example: Instead of telling you that people look at you because they find you ugly, say the opposite. People look at you because they find you beautiful, and if they look at you badly say you that these people are envious because they would like to look like you and have confidence in them.
  4. Avoid the passive aggressive friends who will slip you little comments like: ‘’ Oh you gained weight, you were better before. Why you dress this way, I don’t like it at all and people will say you’re vulgar.” You know what I mean? This person will act as if they told you this with good attention but if it was really for good intentions they would have formulated it differently.
  5. Stop living for people’s approval whether you make a mistake or not people will always find a way to judge you. So live for your approval. Not the you who criticize yourself but the you who loves yourself.
  6. Accept compliments! Don’t try to say “ No, I’m ugly”, just accept the compliment. You don’t realize how charming you can be. Even kindness, self-confidence, and humor can embellish. Physics is just another aspect.
  7. Love yourself. At the end of the day, you find yourself with yourself. And even all the compliments you may receive will never be as important as what you think of yourself.

I hope this article will help you. See you next week. ❤️
