I\u2019ve always said I don\u2019t like PDA, overly clich\u00e9 stuff, or Valentine\u2019s Day\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But I have to admit that love can<\/strong> really be cute. Especially in movies, we all have that one film with the most clich\u00e9 scenes ever, and secretly, we\u2019d love to be the one those words are meant for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Paris, there are romantic things even the cynic in me likes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, the Pont des Arts, with the locks that seal an eternal promise (which probably doesn\u2019t last most of the time, but we like the idea). Montmartre, the<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI love you\u201d wall in many languages (I admit, I really like that word). A candlelit dinner on the Seine, isn\u2019t that super romantic ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Honestly, the fact that romance is fading may also be why it feels awkward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Writing a love letter is a hundred times more romantic than sending a text on iMessage, but still, very few people actually do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even a simple bouquet of flowers has become something rare! Saying \u201cI love you\u201d is either too hard or just a way to keep someone emotionally attached. Sometimes, when we receive romantic gestures, they even seem suspicious\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deep down, the fact that we\u2019re becoming more and more cynical makes it harder for people who try to do things differently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If this is the kind of attention you<\/em> would love to receive, then why stop yourself from saying so ? Love is becoming more and more complicated. We have to think about everything like it\u2019s a test with a huge grade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But love can<\/em> be sweet. We should be able to share it with someone who enjoys showing it just as much as we do.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
