I hope you are well.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>We all had a time when our past obsessed us. Always, \u2018What if I didn\u2019t talk to that person? What if I would not have come to this place? If only I had done this at that time, etc.. \u2018\u2019<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I do not know why we hurt ourselves like that, to want to imagine a past that will never happen.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Literally, the only thing you can do is learn from your past.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The past is a lesson in life.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>A lesson that helps us in one way or another.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Mistakes made, people met, missed opportunities will unfortunately stick to us but if we make sure to take all this to make a big journal that will help us for the future it would help us not to reproduce the same mistakes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why we shouldn\u2019t deny our past and pretend it never existed.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Of course it did exist, and without it you would not be the same person today.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s very hard, especially if what happened was painful.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>How can we go ahead when everything reminds us of the past ?<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s a question I\u2019ve been repeating all day.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The nightmares that remind me that I lived it does not allow me to forget, even if sometimes I want to forget.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>I think I can finally answer that question.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Forgiveness, self-forgiveness and accepting that if we experienced certain things it was for a reason.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Maybe we\u2019ll never know why, but we have to accept it.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Remember that everything is hard before it gets easy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>If one of your decisions resulted in a butterfly effect that destroyed you and you hate yourself for that choice you made in the past, it is important to forgive yourself because without it you will never fully heal.
